In Search of The Pagan Heart Beat
Greetings. This page is just new. It is dedicated to each and every Pagan whom comes here seeking information, respite, solace or just poking around. I am attempting to find our place we are at now spiritually, mystically, socially; the basis is not to find a narrow definition but rather a way to look at ourselves and maybe in that we can see what a Pagan is.
The reason for this page is mainly to help dispel traditional and modern mis-information about Paganism and Pagans. First I must state for the record in my opinion modern Gothicism and Paganism are two very different things. If one juxtaposes Paganism with Gothicism we find they have very little in common, other than a affinity for Black cloths and shiny things!! Today as many of us come out of the "CLOSET" we encounter more and more folks who are drawn to Pagan traditions as a Spiritual Path and not just as a "TRENDY" extension of their looks of cosmetics In opening up to the outside world we as Pagans are taking risks that we we find fearful, and rightly so...lest we forget!!
But that's only to remind us of our Pagan past not to blind us from what we can achieve through faith, dedication and how the Magic that surrounds us everyday is our doorway into the Future!! And what pray tell is this Magic or MagicK spelled in a funny way with a K at the end? Well it is not a easy define, but then in my view true MagicK is weaved from ones heart with threads of the Unseen and thus should not be easily found or discerned! May we read about Mr. Aleister Crowlies et al impressions of MagicK. In pointing to this link I by no means am supporting the author or groups views, spiritual path nor their views on the universe, I merely am gathering some seeds. What is MagicK to you, a mere word to throw about in conversation with other Practitioners of The Craft or is it more? Is it part of your life and dedication to your Higher Powers? To me MagicK is unfolding the Unseen or The Mystical with ones Will so that change occurs in the realm we are in. The Mundane! How this change does Manifest would depend on ones intent, purpose and planning/programming!
But I digress for this page is not for me to postulate so much seek the Pagan Heart Beat with all whom come here. Maybe we should speak a bit at the different Spiritual Paths one may consider in The Journey we call Life. In our search we may wish to also consider that from our conception to our birth into this realm we may call HERE AND NOW, there are no Universal rules that we are bound by but rather Covenants,Rede's and Laws that we as humans place, make and accept between us and our Almighties. When we look at Paganism as a Spiritual Path and consider its variety and differences from Tradition to Tradition we could become lost in the enormous range we are seemingly given! Yet the only real discerning factor that one we must bide by, and use to unfold The Direction of our True Path is that which Sings in Our Souls, Pours through our Passion and Ecstasy, Unfolds in our MagicK, and Beats on Our Hearts....
Alas time does pass and the Mundane does call to me! The next day, or the next day, or the next day after I shall continue with this on going work of love, dedicated to my Goddess Danu or Dana , till then my Blessings!!
